This bunk bed has a sturdy iron tube frame with two twin-size levels, so two sleepers fit in one footprint. The ladder can be placed on the left or right side. A fence around the upper berth is 13.19 in (33.5 cm) high, and bed bars on both sides help keep the mattress from sliding.

Wooden slats support the mattress and help prevent sagging, so no box spring is needed. Memory foam, latex, or spring mattresses can go straight on the frame. For the best fit with the fence, use a mattress less than 9 in (22.9 cm) thick. Plastic leg covers protect the floor and reduce noise.
