Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information boitgo.com collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. boitgo.com is operated by Marktten LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA ("we", "us"). In short: we use your details to process and deliver your order, and we do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

  • Contact and delivery details you give us at checkout or when creating an account: name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing address.
  • Order information: what you bought, order amounts, sales tax, shipping and return status, and your messages to us.
  • Payment information: card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We receive only limited details such as payment status, card type and the last four digits. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar technical information, collected by our servers for security and, if you allow it, by Google Analytics (see Cookies below).

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

How we use it

  • To process, ship and track your order, handle returns and refunds, and provide customer support.
  • To send transactional emails, such as order confirmations, shipping updates and replies to your messages.
  • To calculate sales tax and keep records required by tax and accounting laws.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it, using analytics only if you allow it.

We do not send marketing emails.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the store, and only what they need:

  • Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its data.
  • Our payment processor, to take and refund payments and prevent fraud.
  • Our fulfilment suppliers, who receive your name, delivery address and phone number to ship your order.
  • Our email provider, to send transactional emails.
  • Google Analytics, for site usage statistics, if you accept analytics cookies.

These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or prevent fraud, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site, such as keeping your cart and checkout working. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4 cookies to measure site usage. You can accept or reject analytics cookies in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time. We do not use advertising cookies. See our cookie policy for details.

How long we keep it

  • Order records (including name, address and order details) are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, typically 7 years.
  • Customer support messages are kept as long as needed to resolve your request and any related order issue.
  • Marketing data: none; we do not keep marketing lists.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Security

We protect your information with reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls and limited staff access. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you if required by law in the event of a breach.

Children

Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes);
  • opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising or profiling (we do none of these);
  • appeal our decision if we decline your request.

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and others) have these rights under their state law. We extend them to all US customers.

To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". We will verify your identity using the details linked to your order and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of their authority. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond to appeals within the time your state law requires.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know, access, correct and delete your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

In the last 12 months we collected the categories described in "What we collect" above: identifiers and contact details, commercial information (orders), and internet or network activity. We disclosed them to the service providers listed above for the business purposes described in this policy.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We still honor your request: email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request".

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing, and of analytics cookies, for that browser.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its effective date are always posted on this page. If we make significant changes, we will post a notice on the site.
